Belarus Underground feat MUSTELIDE
The Belarus Days 2016 takes off with a live gig by rising Belarusian electro pop star Natallia Kunitskaya, alias MUSTELIDE. We are immensely proud to announce that she will now bring her smart and heartfelt music to Stockholm, for the first time ever! Make sure not to miss out!
The evening will start with an informal discussion about contemporary Minsk. From some distance it seems as if alternative culture is on the rise, if not thriving. Is that so and how does it relate to the authoritarian obsession with control we’ve got used to associate with Belarus? We’ll talk about the politics of stages and, flipping the coin, about how politics in Belarus are being staged
Main characters of the evening:
Natallia Kunitskaya – MUSTELIDE (singer/composer/producer)
Iryna Vidanava (founder and director of Minsk online magazine Citydog.by)
Imke Hansen (historian and political scientist, Libereco)
